Analytics for rugby performance and recruitment

Mark Einhorn joined Prospect Sporting Insights as Lead Data Scientist in May 2021. Mark oversees the design, development and delivery of all analytic models across multiple sporting disciplines. He holds an MSc and PhD in Operations Research from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. During 5 years of experience at McKinsey & Company, Mark led McKinsey’s development of predictive and prescriptive models for global airline, logistic and pharmaceutical companies, among others. He was also involved in establishing McKinsey’s Analytics Academy which developed and delivered training courses around best practices in the fields of Data Science and Data Engineering and their application to industry. He has served as both Newsletter Editor and Marketing Manager on the ORSSA Exec between 2012 and 2016.
