All the activities of ORSSA, as a professional society, are managed by an Executive Committee (EC). This committee is elected annually and it oversees the day to day running of the society. The various members of the EC each have a specific portfolio for which they are responsible. The portfolios entail, inter alia, membership aspects, finances, the publications of the society, interaction with international societies, the different chapters of ORSSA, the website, etc. The EC consists of the following office bearers: (i) The President, (ii) The Vice President (either elected to become the next President or The Past President who last held office), (iii) The Secretary, (iv) The Treasurer, (v) The Newsletter Editor, (vi) The Newsletter Business Manager, (vii) The Jounal Editor, (viii) The Jounal Business Manager, (ix) The Webmaster, a number of elected additional members and all Chapter Chairpersons.
Access to the Executive Office is restricted by means of a password. The members of the Executive Committee of ORSSA conduct the business of the Society from the Executive Office, such as participating in Executive Web Meetings. The Executive Office also houses minutes of all Executive Meetings (web and otherwise) since 1999, as well as the financial statements of the Society since 2002.
